The History & Significance of the Reformation
The Reformation is one of the most important periods in world history. Its impact changed the trajectory of Christianity and led to (depending on your perspective) either the recovery of the biblical gospel or the fragmenting of the church into thousands of denominations and sects.
How should we understand the Reformation? What were its defining concerns and questions? Who were its leading figures and luminaries? What is its ongoing relevance today? In this EQUIP course, we’ll spend four evenings unpacking these questions. As Protestants, we’ll offer a favorable assessment of the Reformation; but we’ll also interact with Roman Catholic critiques and with secular skepticism. Come join us on Monday nights in January as we take a fascinating journey through Reformation history!
